Overview
Coventry Biennial offers a vital opportunity for a doctoral researcher to join our team as a Research & Evaluation Analyst. This role is central to understanding and articulating the “why” and “how” of our work, focusing on the critical evaluation of our activities and their broader impact.
The successful candidate will research and collate complex information to produce high-level reports on our social, economic, and cultural impact. You will work closely with the Directors to evaluate project outcomes, analyse audience data, and assess how our programmes resonate within the community and the wider arts sector. This is an immersive role that provides a deep dive into the strategic evaluation of a major cultural organisation. Beyond data, you will help us refine our reporting frameworks, ensuring our impact is communicated effectively to stakeholders, boards, and funding bodies.
Crucially, you will investigate our city-wide influence, including our specific economic impact on Coventry and the surrounding region. To ensure rigorous and non-biased results, the individual will be responsible for independently planning and facilitating interviews, focus groups, and other primary research activities.
