Thesis title:

Mediating Chaplaincy: The Online Mediation of Multi-Faith University Chaplaincy in the Immediate Post-COVID19 Pandemic Period 2020 to 2022

This interdisciplinary study is about University Chaplaincy and online mediation as a response to secularisation in the immediate Post-COVID19 Pandemic Period from 2020 to 2022. It examines whether intelligent transmediation, simultaneously using different digital media and platforms, can be valuable and viable for improving the welfare of students and staff. The research will add to the body of research on Chaplaincy in UK Universities and digital media strategies for faith communities. The study will fill a much-needed gap by presenting an evidence-based analysis of digital mediation in faith-based institutions. It will stimulate further conversation, benefit UK universities, advance chaplaincy and help the larger society.
