My research investigates the historical development and lived experiences surrounding Muslim religious spaces in Coventry and Birmingham. Drawing on oral histories, archival research, and mapping, the project traces how these institutions have evolved across generations and ethnic communities, shaping distinctive local Muslim vernaculars.
