Thesis title:

Striking Legacies: Place Attachment and the Post Industrial Landscape in the Poetry of Helen Mort, Ian Parks and Tony Harrison

My thesis is critical-creative, and explores the relationship between poet and place, with specific reference to locations in economic decline. Both my poetry and critical work examine the post-industrial landscape, and how its representation impacts both the poet and the reader.
